I’m happy to endorse Diane for Hennepin County Attorney. She was the prosecutor
when our son Phillip was killed in a drunk driving crash. She couldn’t have been more professional and caring. It was a horrible experience for us and don’t think we would have made it through if it wasn’t for Diane. We all agreed that we would do the right thing no matter what was thrown at us. We ended up with an upward departure from the sentencing guidelines.

Diane prosecuted Shirley Dunn, a dental office manager, who embezzled over
$400,000 from a dental practice in Hennepin County. The case went to trial in January, 2022, and Dunn was convicted of seven counts of theft by swindle. She was sentenced to 57 months in prison and ordered to make restitution to the victim. Here’s what one of the victims said:

decrease our collective anxiety through her professionalism, hard work, and empathy. She obtained a swift and favorable result. Diane is smart, pragmatic and a true victim’s advocate. Diane Krenz would be an exceptional Hennepin County Attorney and most

It is my honor to write in support of Diane Krenz for Hennepin County Attorney. Having worked as a police officer/investigator in Hennepin County and as a special agent for the State of Minnesota, I had the opportunity and privilege to work with Diane on
numerous criminal investigations and prosecutions. These cases included the crimes of assault, theft, sex crimes and especially white collar and financial crimes.
During my twenty-five years in law enforcement, I became very familiar with Diane’s work ethic and know her to have been an extremely talented and hard-working prosecutor. She earned my trust and respect as a tenacious prosecutor who was victim oriented and fair. I had the privilege to work alongside her in preparation for trials as well
as witness her talents in court.
I have found Diane to be an extremely knowledgeable prosecutor who was always willing to guide and support law enforcement efforts. She has taught several classes for law enforcement on a variety of topics to help facilitate successful criminal prosecutions.
It is extremely important for police officers to have the trust and support of the County Attorney’s office. Unlike the present Hennepin County Attorney who in my opinion clearly has a vendetta against law enforcement and has undoubtedly hampered morale
and recruitment efforts of officers throughout Hennepin County, Diane has earned the trust and respect of law enforcement officers throughout the State.
She will work for the
residents of Hennepin County, law enforcement and most importantly, crime victims to seek the best possible outcome.
